It took us a year to get pregnant with Mia. The plan was to start TTCing again when she was a little over a year old, to space them two years apart. Mia's 10 months old...and I'm pregnant.
Sometimes I take a test just because. I don't know why. It's something I've always done, even back when I was on for real birth control...not the cheesy little mini-pill which apparently isn't so effective! So, for some reason, I had an urge to take a test today. Two lines.
I strapped Mia in the carseat immediately, drove to CVS and bought two more tests of different brands.
Wow. Good to know.
Mike doesn't know yet. He's working tonight. It's taking a lot of will power to not call him at work and tell him over the phone or call him at work and demand that he come home immediately. I have to stay up three more hours to tell him.
We're going to see The Hunger Games tomorrow. This seems like odd timing. Not the genre of movie that fits the traditional emotions that accompany an event like this. Got a babysitter all lined up and everything.
So they would be about 18 months apart, and this baby would be due around Thanksgiving.
OK, so on to plan B...
